Agenda:
30 minutes: Understanding DJ Gear
An interactive show-and-tell session where participants get to familiarize themselves with different DJ equipment like turntables, mixers, controllers, and headphones.
30 minutes: Basic DJ Techniques
Introduction to fundamental DJ skills such as cueing, simple mixing, and using basic controls. Participants get to try hands-on activities in pairs.
60 minutes: Play Your First Song
Participants choose a song from a pre-selected list and, with guidance, perform their first DJ mix using basic transitions. This session is designed to be a supportive, cheer-on environment encouraging family participation.
